Garlic Mashed Potatoes Gourmet Style

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Prep Time: 10 min     Total Time: 10 min     Serves: 6


Ingredients:


2 pounds Russet Potatoes, peeled
6 whole garlic cloves, peeled
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup cream, milk or half&half, heated
Parsley for
garnish

Instruction:

Boil potatoes and garlic together until tender; drain and mash with a small amount of heated cream until smooth. Serve on individual plates with an herb encrusted chip, if desired.



Herb Encrusted Chip (stained glass potato chip):
Russet Potato, unpeeled, thinly sliced
Fresh Italian Parsley leaves
1/4 teaspoon butter

Put a parsley leaf between two potato slices, smooth over with your fingers removing any air pockets. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, saute slices until golden.
