2 pounds Russet Potatoes, peeled
6 whole garlic cloves, peeled
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup cream, milk or half&half, heated

Boil potatoes and garlic together until tender; drain and mash with a small amount of heated cream until smooth.
