French Dip Sandwich and Au Jus Recipe

Au Jus Dipping Sauce:
Ingredients:
10-1/2 ounce can French Onion soup
10-1/2 ounce can Beef Broth soup
1 can cold water
1/2 teaspoon white granulated sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instruction:
Combine ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil,
remove from heat; strain, discard onions. Serve hot in small containers for
dipping. makes 3-1/2 cups.
Roast Beef:
Ingredients:
1 pound rare roast beef, thinly sliced or shredded
4 French rolls
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instruction:
Layer roast beef on rolls, add salt and pepper according to taste and serve with
the au jus dipping sauce.
Garnish with watermelon slices
if desired, seasoned with cracked black pepper and chopped mint along side this sandwich,
it is a refreshing combination.
