Dates Stuffed with Gorgonzola Cheese,
Cream Cheese and Toasted Walnuts

An easy very tasty appetizer of dates that are split open and stuffed with softened Gorgonzola cheese, cream cheese and toasted walnuts. Open a nice bottle of wine and enjoy. See more of my easy Appetizer Recipes

Ingredients:

8 ounce package dates, pitted
4 tablespoons Gorgonzola cheese creamy style, softened
4 oz. cream cheese softened 
2 tablespoons walnuts
or pecans toasted, chopped

Instruction:

With a small knife make a slight opening in each date lengthwise.

In a small bowl combine and mash together the softened Gorgonzola cheese and cream cheese. Blend well, then mix in the toasted nuts. Fill the pocket you just made in each date with 1/2 teaspoon of the blended cheese mixture. Close up each date making a smooth oval shape. Place on a serving plate for guests to enjoy.
