Cook Time: 15 min
Yield: 14-inch cookie pizza
Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup smooth style peanut butter
1 cup Heath candy bars, coarsely chopped
Instruction:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl beat white and brown sugar together with butter until light and fluffy. Add
the egg and vanilla mixing well. Combine flour,
salt and baking soda; add to the batter mixing on low speed until well blended.
Add one-half package of chocolate chips.
Spread onto a 14-inch pizza pan to within 1/2-inch of edges (batter will spread). Bake
for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from
oven and immediately drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the top while the
pizza is still hot and sprinkle with the remaining package of chips. Wait 5 minutes for it to soften then spread evenly with an offset spatula. Sprinkle with
chopped Heath candy; slice into wedges and serve.
