2 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
2 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 egg, prepared according to your preference
2 baguette bread slices toasted
2 pats butter
fresh orange juice
fresh strawberry with hull
freshly brewed coffee
Spread 1 teaspoon oil in the middle of a baking sheet; spread hash browns on top to approximately 1/2-inch thickness. Drizzle remaining oil over potatoes, add salt and pepper. Place under broiler for approximately 8 to 12 minutes or until they are browned, turn the baking sheet halfway through the cooking time. Do not let them burn.
Prepare the egg. Pour orange juice into a champagne flute or stemmed glass, attach a fresh strawberry on the rim of the glass and serve. Your guests will love this special presentation!
