Cut bananas into chunks, coat them with honey, insert a skewer, roll the banana chunks in chopped chocolate, coconut or walnuts, or your favorite topping choice.

This makes a great breakfast treat for guests.

Prep Time: 15 min   Total Time: 15 min

Ingredients:

Bananas
Honey
Coconut, finely chopped
Chocolate, finely chopped
Walnuts or Pecans or Almonds toasted and finely chopped
skewers (I used plastic skewers from Crate & Barrel)

Instructions:

Peel banana, cut into 1-1/2-inch chunks; insert a skewer, coat with honey then roll in coconut or chocolate or walnuts, or your favorite topping choice.

I serve them in a large tall wine glass filled with angel hair or you can simply put them in a tall stemmed glass sitting on a platter to catch any drops of honey or lay them flat. This is a great addition to a breakfast buffet for out of town guests or any time.

Wine recommendation: Riesling; Dessert wine
