Amuse Bouche St. Patrick's Day Pesto Bowtie Pasta
put a Shamrock cookie cutter on a
plate, squeeze basil pesto from a tube in the center
Here is a simple idea I
created to delight your palate using green basil pesto already made for you,
just purchase a tube at the grocers. Add a cooked bow tie pasta, pine nuts and
a cheese wedge. It doesn't get any easier than this!

Prep Time: 20 min Total Time: 20 min
4 farfalle pasta (bow ties)
4 teaspoons Italian Dressing
4 tablespoon Basil green Pesto, available in tubes
4 fresh basil sprigs
12 pine nuts, toasted
4 Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wedges (1-inch x 1/4-inch x l/4-inch)
cookie cutter, (Shamrock)
Cook pasta according to directions; drain; transfer to small bowl; add Italian Dressing.
Place shamrock cookie cutter on serving plate, squeeze out a small amount of
pesto inside the cookie cutter. Remove cutter, arrange pasta, basil, pine
nuts and cheese wedge on plate and serve.
