Walnut and Blue Cheese Grape Appetizer

Ingredients:

2/3 cups walnuts or pecans
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 ounces crumbled blue cheese
20 loose seedless red grapes
, washed, towel dry

Instructions:

Toast walnuts under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly toasted, do not burn, transfer to a small bowl.

In another small bowl blend and mix together cream cheese and blue cheese, cover, place in refrigerator for approximately 15 minutes or until slightly firm.

Put one heaping teaspoon cheese mixture in palm of your hand along with a grape in the center, roll between the palms of your hand until the grape is completely coated with the cheese. Roll in toasted walnuts or pecans. Place on a plate, single layer without touching, chill 30 minutes or until firm, and serve.

Wine recommendation: Pinot Noir; Cabernet Sauvignon; Merlot
