Pink Grapefruit Sorbet
1/2 cup water 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
2 drops red food coloring
Boil water and sugar in saucepan whisking to
dissolve sugar, remove from heat, add grapefruit juice and food coloring, cover and freeze.
Puree in a food processor or blender; freeze again. With a melon baller make round
sorbet balls, place on frozen ice dish and serve.
Frozen Dish of Ice
Fill a plastic lined small dish (one per person) with distilled water; freeze
solid; peel plastic before serving sorbet on the dish of ice.
