Serves 2

1 cup ice cream, your favorite type
strawberry fan garnish
mint sprigs

Spoon ice cream into a shallow pan to a depth of 1/2-inch and freeze.  Cut into  hearts using a cookie cutter or stencil or template.  Put one on individual plates, decorate with sauce, add the garnish and serve.

Chocolate Sauce

2 tablespoons heavy cream
1-1/2 teaspoons corn syrup
1-1/2 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped fine

Combine ingredients in a saucepan over low heat whisking until chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour into a squirt bottle (I use a plastic catsup or mustard container with a small opening).
Can be made 2 weeks ahead of time.
