Served on a crusty bun with Dijon mustard and mayonnaise... We stopped at a
little Italian deli in Sonoma County California for a wine tasting and ordered this for
lunch... what a treat! It was so delicious.

2 top quality fresh deli crusty buns
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons Mayonnaise
1/4 pound Beef Pastrami deli slices
2 slices Red onion, thinly sliced
6 thinly sliced Kosher dill pickles
2 slices Provolone cheese
2 green lettuce leaves
Cut crusty buns in half; if bread is too thick,
with your fingers remove any excess amount from the centers
walls. Spread a generous amount of Dijon mustard on one half and mayonnaise on the other half
to make them moist.
Build the sandwich with pastrami slices, sliced red onion, thinly sliced kosher dill pickles, Provolone
cheese, lettuce leafs and serve with fresh fruit threaded onto kebobs for a fantastic gourmet lunch.
