10-1/2 ounce can French Onion soup
10-1/2 ounce can Beef Broth soup
1 can cold water
1/2 teaspoon white granulated sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
Combine ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil,
remove from heat; strain, discard onions. Serve hot in small containers for
dipping. makes 3-1/2 cups.
1 pound rare roast beef, thinly sliced or shredded
4 French rolls
Salt and pepper, to taste
Layer roast beef on rolls, add salt and pepper according to taste and serve with
the dipping sauce.
Garnish with watermelon slices
if desired, seasoned with cracked black pepper
and chopped mint along side this sandwich, it is a refreshing combination.
