Dates Wrapped in Bacon stuffed with
Cheese
12 slices smoked bacon cut
crosswise into thirds 36 pitted dates 36 Parmesan
cheese sticks, 1-inch x 1/4-inch 36 wooden toothpicks
Stuff dates with Parmesan
cheese sticks, wrap with bacon slices and secure with toothpicks.
Place on a shallow baking pan seam side down and broil 4 to 6 minutes; turn them
over, broil 4
minutes more or until they are crisp.
Serve with a Pinot Noir wine or beer.
