Dates Wrapped with Bacon stuffed with
Cheese
12 slices smoked bacon 36 pitted dates 36 Parmesan
cheese sticks, 1-inch x 1/4-inch 36 wooden toothpicks
Cut smoked bacon slices crosswise into thirds.
Stuff dates with Parmesan
cheese sticks, wrap with bacon slices, secure with toothpicks.
Place on a shallow baking pan and broil 4 to 6 minutes; turn dates over, broil 4
minutes more or until bacon is crisp.
Serve appetizer with a Pinot Noir wine or beer.
