Combine fresh crab with scallions, mayonnaise and Tabasco sauce for a special lunch treat on a light buttery flaky unique pastry croissant roll.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

2 large Croissant deli buns
Mayonnaise
6 ounces fresh Dungeness crabmeat
salt and pepper, to taste
Tabasco sauce, to taste
2 tablespoons scallions, sliced
lettuce leaves

Instruction:

Cut croissant rolls in half horizontally, spread with mayonnaise; divide crab meat for 2 Croissant buns, add salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce and scallions, top with lettuce leaves. Close the croissant sandwich, slice each Croissant in half and serve with a Caesar salad wonton basket if desired for a gourmet lunch treat.

 

Wine recommendation: Chardonnay; Pinot Grigio; Fume Blanc; Sauvignon Blanc;
