The first time I had this chocolate cookie pizza was at an outdoor barbecue picnic,
it was a
big hit for both kids and adults.... who doesn't like
chocolate?
I thought this was a unique idea and
had to know the ingredients so I could make it.
It travels well to 'bake and take' to
share at potlucks, family gatherings, etc.
It is simple to make,
even kids can do it.
I remember one time I
made it for a youth church group.
While the Pastor was still
speaking,
I happened to go into the kitchen and saw two teens getting
an early start on it... haha..
that was a great compliment. It's a keeper!

1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 12 ounce package
semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cups
peanut butter 1 cup Heath candy bars, coarsely chopped
In a mixing bowl beat white and brown sugar with butter until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla mixing well. Combine flour,
salt and baking soda; add to the batter mixing on low speed until well blended.
Add half the chocolate chips.
Spread batter in a 14-inch pizza pan to within 1/2-inch of edges (batter will spread). Bake at
350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from
oven and evenly distribute remaining chocolate chips
and small spoonfuls of peanut butter on top; wait 5 minutes until it softens, then spread them evenly
over the pizza. Sprinkle with chopped Heath candy bars; slice and serve.
