Coleslaw - Kosher Deli Creamy Style Coleslaw
Made With Mayonnaise, Celery Seed, Horseradish, White Wine Vinegar and Other Ingredients

This is my favorite kosher style creamy coleslaw recipe. I like to add horseradish to give it some 'zip'.  
Kosher horseradish is one of the six traditional items on Jewish Passover Seder plates.

Coleslaw - Kosher Deli Creamy Style

3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2 tablespoons hot prepared horseradish


Place shredded cabbage in a large bowl.

In a smaller bowl blend mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, sugar, kosher salt, celery seed and hot prepared horseradish until smooth; pour over shredded cabbage mixing well and serve. This is a simple and delicious excellent recipe!

Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris; Sauvignon Blanc
