Recipe Type: garnish, cherry tomato

Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 10 min
Yield: 1

Ingredients:

1 Cherry tomato
1/4 teaspoon coarse grain mustard

Instruction:

Place tomato on cutting board stem end down. Using a sharp knife cut down the center making an 'X' without cutting completely through leaving the base attached; you now have 4 petals. Carefully slice away the membrane, rinse briefly under cold water to remove seeds. Place a small amount of coarse grain mustard in the center of cherry tomato to resemble a flower. Serve one on each plate with the main entree, or salads, or lunches.

Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris; Chardonnay
