a cherry tomato makes a neat flower
garnish
you can use them for lunch, or put one on a pasta dish, or
salad
plate,
or use them for a special dinner, or place them on casseroles to
decorate the entree.
Use them for most any savory recipe.. make them in advance, cover
and refrigerate until serving

Cherry tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon coarse grain mustard
With stem end of tomato facing up, make an 'X' cut but not completely through leaving
the base
attached; you now have 4 petals. With a sharp knife, carefully remove seeds and membranes from each petal.
Place a small amount of coarse grain mustard in the center of each tomato to resemble a
flower. Serve one on each plate with the main entree, or salads,
or lunches.
