Coleslaw Salad with Mint and Lime Juice


Coleslaw Salad

Recipe Type: salad, cabbage, coleslaw, vinaigrette dressing, mint

Prep Time: 10 min
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

3 cups fresh green cabbage, finely shredded
4 tablespoons mint leaves sliced 1/4-inch plus 4 sprigs for
garnish
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
3 teaspoons sugar
4 dashes Tabasco sauce, or according to taste

Instruction:

Put shredded cabbage and sliced mint leaves in a large bowl.

In a smaller bowl whisk together lime juice, salt, sugar and Tabasco sauce. When ready to serve, pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage and carefully blend together; garnish with mint leaves if desired and serve. Refreshing, simple and delicious!

Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris; Chardonnay
