Thinly Sliced Seasoned Deli Roast Beef On Toasted Crostini Bread with Sour Cream Horseradish Sauce

This is quick and easy to put together, most all the ingredients are already on hand... a great recipe for leftover roast beef, simply slice and toast baguette bread and add seasoned sour cream.

Beef Crostini Horseradish Appetizer

Prep Time: 20 min   Total Time: 20 min   Servings: 10 to 12

Ingredients

Baguette bread, sliced 1/4-inch thick
olive oil
1 garlic clove cut in half
6 to 8 ounces (1/2 pound) deli roast beef, sliced thin
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons prepared hot horseradish, drained
1/8 teaspoon salt, or to taste
freshly cracked black peppercorns
chives for
garnish

Instruction:

Brush bread slices with olive oil. Place on a sheet pan, broil for 2 minutes per side or until toasted. Remove from broiler, rub one side with a halved garlic clove; set aside.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, horseradish, salt and pepper, blend well. Adjust seasoning to taste. Arrange sliced meat on top bread slices, add the sour cream mixture, garnish with chives and serve.
