Sandwich with Sliced Red Onion

Ingredients:
7 to 8 ounces Pâté
Duck, Chicken or Pork (available at Trader Joe's)
2 slices
baguette bread, each 6 inches long, cut in half lengthwise
8 teaspoons mayonnaise
Red onion, thinly sliced
leaf lettuce
serve with Cornichons (small French pickles)
Instruction
Spread mayonnaise bread halves.
Remove pâté from package, discard any surrounding pork fat
strips or aspic jelly. Divide pate in half and spread equal amounts on two baguette bread slices
covering completely; add red onion slices and leaf
lettuce. Close up sandwiches, cut in half diagonally. Serve with Cornichon pickles
and potato chips for a delicious easy to make gourmet lunch sandwich.
