Prep Time: 20 min   Cook Time: 7 min   Yield: serves many

Ingredients:

12 - 16 ounce package sliced smoked bacon, cut crosswise into thirds
1 pound medium-sized fully cooked shrimp, 61 - 70 count, tails on
garlic salt
cracked black pepper

toothpicks

Instructions:

Cook smoked slices in a large skillet on high heat or microwave oven until half done, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with garlic salt and cracked black pepper. Wrap one around the middle of each shrimp leaving the tails exposed. Skewer them with toothpicks to keep the wrapping from unraveling. Place on a foil lined sheet pan and broil for 5 minutes to crisp them. How easy is that and so delicious!

wine Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris; Chardonnay; Beer
