Bacon
Wrapped Mushroom Appetizer

Makes 20 appetizers
10 slices thin smoked bacon
20 medium sized button mushrooms
Cracked
black pepper
Cut bacon slices in half crosswise. Cut stems off
mushrooms and discard. If mushrooms are too large cut in half.
Sprinkle bacon with cracked pepper. Wrap mushrooms in bacon slices stretching
the bacon slightly to fit snuggly around the mushrooms. No need to use toothpicks.
Place mushroom appetizers seam side down on foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 15
minutes; transfer baking sheet under the broiler for 3 minutes to crisp the bacon.
Serve on a platter.
