Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
A Gourmet way to serve this side dish for Dinner Parties or any time

I like to cook the bacon and beans separately then wrap in bundles, we eat first with our eyes, they look better in my opinion using this method, they are not wilted, charred, overcooked, shriveled or unattractive but fresh looking and inviting. Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Prep Time: 25 min   Cook Time: 10 min   Servings: 6 to 8

Ingredients

bacon slices (one per serving)
1 pound fresh whole green beans (4 to 5 per serving), stem end trimmed at an angle
1 tablespoon melted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste


Instruction:

Place slices between paper towels. Microwave until tender crisp.

Steam the green beans to an al dente stage (tender crisp), drain and gently toss with melted butter, salt and pepper. Wrap a slice around approximately 4 to 5 beans depending on their size making bundles, serve bacon seam-side down on a platter or individual plates.
