St. Patrick's Day Appetizer

4 servings
4 farfalle pasta (bow tie pasta)
4 teaspoons Italian Dressing
cookie cutter, (St. Patrick's Shamrock)
4 tablespoon Basil green Pesto (available at supermarkets)
4 fresh basil sprigs
12 pine nuts, toasted
4 Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wedges (1-inch x 1/4-inch x l/4-inch)
Cook farfalle according to directions; drain; transfer to small bowl; add Italian Dressing.
Place cookie cutter on serving plate, put small amount of basil pesto inside
cookie cutter making a shamrock. Remove cookie cutter, add pasta, basil, pine
nuts, cheese wedge to the plate and serve the
St. Patrick's Day appetizer.
Wine recommendation: Pinot Gris
