Toasted Cheese Sandwich Rounds

Most everyone loves a toasted cheese sandwich....
why not present toasted bread differently by cutting the bread into a round shape then add a garnish of pickles and olives...
serve the toasted bread with fresh spinach leaves and diced cantaloupe as an added treat

serves 1

1 teaspoon butter
2 slices bread of your choice
Medium Cheddar Cheese, sliced 1/4-inch thick
salt, to taste
sliced dill pickle and black olive on a toothpick for garnish

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, place slices of Cheddar, as many as you like, between two bread slices, sprinkle lightly with salt; cover and grill until lightly toasted, turn the bread to toast the other side. Transfer to a cutting board, use a utility knife to cut into approximately a 3-inch circle (I used the rim of a glass as a guide).

Garnish with a pickle slice, olive and serve this gourmet treat.
