Panini Caprese Sandwich
with Avocado

4 to 6 servings
Baguette,
preferably multi-grained, halved horizontally
extra virgin olive oil for drizzle red tomato, sliced Mozzarella cheese, sliced
dried Oregano fresh Basil leaves avocado, sliced Salt and pepper, to taste
Grill or broil baguette bread halves until toasted; drizzle both halves
with olive oil. Build the sandwich with sliced tomato, salt and
pepper, sliced Mozzarella cheese, sprinkle with dried Oregano, sprinkle
with more olive oil, salt and pepper, top with fresh basil leaves,
avocado slices and more salt and pepper. Close the sandwich, slice
and serve.
This is a delicious sandwich,
serve with beer or red wine, it is a keeper!
