Artichoke Appetizer

Makes 18 - 20 appetizers
1 baguette sliced 1/2" thick oil for brushing on the baguette
6-1/2 ounce jar marinated
artichokes hearts, drained 1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil Salt & Pepper to taste
1/4 cup arugula, thinly sliced 1/4 pound deli Turkey
Pastrami, cut into thin strips
cracked black pepper for garnish
Brush baguette slices lightly with oil; bake on a sheet pan at 350° for 7 minutes
or until lightly toasted.
Puree marinated artichokes, garlic, white wine vinegar, 1/4 cup olive oil, salt and
pepper in a blender, spread on toasted crostini, top with arugula, turkey pastrami,
sprinkle with cracked pepper and serve.
