Brie Cheese Wedge, Herbed Cheese Garnish (photograph)









brie wheel sliced in half, filled with herbs, cut into wedges....  

Simply mix chopped fresh herbs of your choice with a fruity olive oil, 
season well and spread on cheese halves 
close up like a sandwich and serve ...  how easy is that!

this is easy to make in advance and serve as a garnish  
with a salad or a pasta course.
  

this simple idea can be served with most anything...  it is delicious...  try it!

Brie Cheese Wedge

Serves 8

1 (8 ounce) Brie cheese wheel
1 tablespoon fresh Thyme, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh Basil, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon extra-virgin Olive Oil
pinch of salt

Cut wheel in half horizontally. In a small bowl combine thyme, basil, parsley, oil and salt; spread on one side of the wheel; close up like a sandwich; cut into 1-inch wedges and serve with a tossed green salad or pasta.

Wine recommendation: Pinot Noir
